Home to School Transport
Home to School Transport 2018-19 (Reception - Year 11)
Parents/carers of children in reception year to the end of year 11 are responsible for ensuring their child's attendance at school. This means that parents/carers are responsible for their child's transport arrangements.
However, if you live further away than the statutory walking distance from your catchment or nearest qualifying school or you fall within the "low income group", transport arrangements are the County Council's responsibility for children until the end of Year 11. Such transport is free.
If you would like to apply for home to school transport please read the school transport policy and then complete the online application form. Alternatively print off and complete the application for school transport and post it to the address stated.
